Happy Birthday, Terry Nation!

As you may or may not know, today is Terry Nation's birthday and he would have been 83 had it not been for his unfortunate death in 1997. If you don't know who he is, then he is the man who created the Daleks and Davros, making him one of the most important people in the history of Doctor Who.

According to TARDIS Wiki, he wrote the following Doctor Who stories:
  • The Daleks
  • The Keys of Marinus
  • The Dalek Invasion of Earth
  • The Chase
  • Mission to the Unknown
  • The Dalek's Master Plan (episodes 1-5 and 7)
  • Planet of the Daleks
  • Death to the Daleks
  • Genesis of the Daleks
  • The Android Invasion
  • Destiny of the Daleks
So, what is your favourite Terry Nation story?
 Happy birthday Terry! :)

  1. "Genesis of the Daleks" is not only my favorite Dalek story, but one of my favorite Doctor Who serials! I find it a very interesting commentary on how much the Time Wars changed the Doctor in that he had the opportunity to destroy the Daleks in "Genesis..." but was unable to bring himself to do so & carry the weight of that action with him. That he later not only wiped them out, but his own race as well, illustrates how different the Doctor was to become.
